This is a taste treat you won't soon forget. This recipe can be used with
any white fish and you'll have them begging you to make it again and again...


Alaska Yelloweye Chinese Style

Ingredients:

Yelloweye or other Rock Fish
Ginger
Green Onion
Cilantro
Oil
Salt
Pepper
Soy Sauce
Garlic

 

Clean and scale thoroughly a 4 or 5 pound fish. Score both shoulders.
Season the fish with salt and pepper including the stomach and scored areas.
Make a mixture of chopped green onion, copped ginger, and cilantro. Spread the mixture over and under the fish as well as in the 2 scored areas and in the stomach.
Steam fish on a plate.
Heat oil in a pan with chopped garlic until it burns and pour it over the steamed fish through a strainer.
Discard burnt Garlic.
Pour some soy sauce over fish.
Garnish with more green onions and cilantro.
